Microsoft Power Automate
Process automation with Power Automate less manual work
Power Automate does the repetitive work for you: approvals, alerts, system updates and moving data. We scope and build the flows, and teach your teams to run them and build more themselves.
- Approvals, alerts and system updates
- Works with Microsoft 365 and many other systems
- Error handling and alerts built in
- We train your team to run the flows
- Support after go-live
In short: Ofekpoint builds automated business processes with Power Automate for organisations: approvals, alerts, system updates and moving data between systems. We scope and build the flows and train your teams to run them. Based in Petah Tikva, Israel, since 2015.
What is Power Automate
Processes that run on their own, by rules you set.
Microsoft Power Automate is advanced business automation with tools that are simple to set up and understand. You build a flow that performs one or more tasks automatically when an event triggers it.
Power Automate is part of the Power Platform, and works with Microsoft's other apps and systems and with many others. Organisations have to perform the same actions again and again, at volumes where doing it by hand is slow and error-prone. Power Automate takes that work off you and your people, and frees them for work that really needs them.

What we build
Automations that cut manual work.
Examples of flows we build:
-
Approvals
Purchase, leave or document requests that follow a fixed approval path, with reminders for whoever needs to approve.
-
System updates
Automatic updates to ERP, CRM and other systems, as we built for Ichilov.
-
Team alerts
An alert in Teams or by email when something needs attention, for example when a room becomes free or a task is delayed.
-
Automatic check-in
Automatic registration of entries, as in Barzilai Medical Center's visitor management system.
-
Data for reports
Flows that collect and consolidate data, so your Power BI reports stay up to date without manual work.
-
Moving data between forms and documents
Information entered in one form reaches a list, a document or another system automatically, without copying by hand.
Why Power Automate
Build it yourself, or with us?
You can try to build automations yourself. A more economical option in time and resources is to work with us: we'll build the automations to fit your needs, and teach your teams to run, adjust and build more flows themselves.
Connects to hundreds of systems
Power Automate connects to hundreds of apps, websites and systems: email, CRM, advertising platforms, social media and more, and even to systems without a built-in connection.
Fewer human errors
Repetitive actions run automatically and consistently, so hundreds or thousands of them no longer need someone to do them by hand.
End-to-end service
We handle the whole project: consulting, implementation and support, so you can focus on your business rather than on automation.
Better return on investment
An experienced consultant lowers your set-up costs, improves the outcome and looks for ways to save even more.
How we work
From the first call to go-live.
-
Intro call
We learn the need, your current systems and the goal. No commitment.
-
Scope and proposal
Together we define what we'll build, how long it will take and what it will cost.
-
Build in stages
We work in short Agile sprints, and you see progress all the way.
-
Roll-out and support
We train your users, go live and stay available for support.
The first step: a short intro call, no commitment.
Case studies
Three hospitals. Three systems live, fast.
-
Visitor management
Barzilai Medical Center
Live within a week
During COVID the hospital had to register every visitor and every staff member, fast. The system went live within a week. At the time, about 11,000 staff check-ins went through it every week, and visitors entered with a QR code.
-
Room management
Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov)
One system for every department
Each department managed its rooms its own way, with no shared system. We built one room management system on the Power Platform.
-
Medical staff scheduling
Hillel Yaffe Medical Center
Live within 12 weeks
Doctors were scheduled by hand, and at night it wasn't always clear who was available. We built a scheduling and availability system for all staff on Microsoft 365, and went live within 12 weeks.
FAQ
Power Automate questions we get asked
Do we need a separate Power Automate licence?
Most Microsoft 365 plans let you use Power Automate with standard connectors. Flows that use Dataverse or premium connectors need a Power Automate Premium licence. We'll check your exact licensing in the first call.
Can Power Automate connect to systems without a ready-made connector?
In most cases, yes, through an API or a custom connector. We'll check this in the intro call.
What happens if a flow fails?
We build Power Automate flows with error handling and alerts, so if a step fails, the right person is notified and can deal with it.
Can our people change the flows themselves?
Yes. Training your teams is part of the project, so they can run and adjust the Power Automate flows and build new ones.
What's the difference between Power Automate and Power Apps?
Power Automate works behind the scenes: it runs approvals, sends alerts and updates systems, often with no screen at all. When people need to enter or view data, we add a Power Apps app on top. In most of our projects the two work together.
